The Nest Center for Women, Children, and Families provides a safe place for education, counseling, and support to children and families in crisis. Our programs focus on the prevention of physical and sexual abuse and neglect of children and the stabilization of the family unit.
Our STARS-rated Child Care Program provides free, high quality full-time or respite child care for families in need. The Nest also offers the Self-Help Parent Program, a program designed to support families recovering from violence, abuse, and neglect, and to promote stronger family units and positive family communication.
Our Crisis Care Management Program assists families that are in need of emergency supplies, including food, toiletries, clothing, and cleaning supplies, and offers referrals for emergency financial and legal assistance.
Finally, The Nest offers individual and group counseling through our Domestic Violence Counseling and Support Program.
The Nest has volunteer opportunities for individuals with a wide variety of interests and talents. If you want to help, we can find a place for you!
We depend on the generosity of donors to help us with both financial support and donations of goods for our Crisis Care Management Program.
Corporate donations and sponsorships are essential to our operations. Sponsor one of our events and help us make a difference in the lives of Lexington’s families.
