WHAT IS TWEET SEATS?

Tweet Seats (@tweetseatslex) is a car seat drive supporting The Nest’s Family Assistance program, which connects Lexington families in need with necessities and resources. From February 10th to March 9th, 2024, we aim to collect 50+ new/used car seats to be distributed to Kentucky families in need by The Nest. Tweet Seats is powered by volunteer organizers, local sponsors, and donors like you.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS DRIVE?

Over the past few years, The Nest has seen a growing need for infant and cild car seats within the Lexington community. Car seats are a necessity for families and the need is still increasing.

WHEN IS THE DRIVE?

From February 10th to March 9th, 2024, we aim to collect 50+ new/used car seats to be distributed to Kentucky families in need by The Nest.

WAYS TO GIVE

NEW / USED CAR SEATS

We are primarily collecting new/used car seats. Employees and volunteers at The Nest will be in charge of safety assessments, but please reach out with any questions. More details about drop off locations and times are available on our website.

MONETARY DONATIONS

Monetary donations have a major impact. If a physical donation is unrealistic for you, you can still help us reach our goal. Every contribution counts! Donate through our website here!

TEMPORARY STORAGE

We are still looking for partners who can volunteer temporary storage space to accommodate donations. If you are a part of a business, church, or other group that is willing to volunteer as a drop-off location or temporary storage location, please contact us.

SPREAD AWARENESS

Spreading the word is priceless. Although we urge you to make a donation, simply reaching out to your friends, family, church congregation, or sharing on social media can make a difference.

WHERE DO I DROP OFF MY CAR SEAT DONATION?

The Nest’s location in Duncan Park will be a drop-off and storage location for donations. Hours are limited. Feel free to contact with questions about location and time.
