A nest is a safe place to grow — a place to be nurtured and supported, to learn and be encouraged; a place to prepare to face the world with strength and confidence. We believe all caregivers should have equal access to high-quality child care - a nest for their children - regardless of financial status. From birth to age five, our state-licensed early learning center provides caregivers with flexible child care options including short-term, long-term, and free drop-in care.

We understand that unexpected situations arise when immediate child care is needed, including:

  • Appointments

  • Job interviews

  • Legal obligations

  • Recent guardianship

  • Classes or appointments at The Nest

  • Other immediate needs

Our educators, who have a combined 100+ years of teaching experience, create a nurturing environment to foster the physical, emotional, social, and educational development of each child who walks through our doors. Our goal is for every child and caregiver to feel embraced, encouraged, and empowered!

  • All care is based on availability.

  • Reservations are encouraged; please schedule ahead if able.

  • Contracted, long-term child care costs are determined on a sliding scale based on income.
