WHO WILL RECEIVE PROCEEDS FROM RAFFLE? All proceeds will benefit The Nest and our four free programs.

DO I NEED TO BE 18 TO PURCHASE TICKETS? Yes. You must be 18 years of age or older at the time you purchase tickets. Raffle winner will be required to provide identification with proof of age in order to claim raffle prizes.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKET NUMBERS? You will receive electronic raffle ticket(s) with your ticket number(s) via the email address you provide during ticket purchase no later than Friday, November 3, 2023 at 12PM EST.

WHEN AND HOW WILL YOU SELECT THE WINNER? The drawing for the winner will take place on The Nest’s FACEBOOK LIVE at www.facebook.com/TheNestLex on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 12:00 PM EST.

HOW WILL WINNER RECEIVE THE TICKETS, HOTEL RESERVATION, AND GIFT CARD? Winner must provide a valid email address for the transfer of tickets and hotel reservation, which will be done in collaboration with The Nest. Gift card can be mailed or picked up at The Nest.

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE OVERNIGHT HOTEL STAY? The one-night hotel accommodation is for Tuesday, November 14, 2023 and cannot be changed to a different date or location. The stay is for one queen room at the The Manchester Hotel, 941 Manchester Avenue, Lexington, KY 40508.

HOW MANY RAFFLE TICKETS ARE BEING SOLD? The raffle is limited to the first 1,000 tickets sold. Each ticket has a 1 in 1,000 chance of winning the prize; provided that the odds are subject to change dependent upon the total number of chances sold.

WHEN DO RAFFLE TICKET SALES END? Raffle tickets will be sold (online only) until Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST.

HOW MANY WINNERS WILL THERE BE? There will only be one (1) winner chosen who will receive the two (2) concert tickets, one (1) overnight hotel stay, and one (1) gift card for $100 to Frank & Dinos restaurant as their prize.

HOW MANY TICKETS CAN I BUY? You may purchase as many tickets as you choose.

IS MY TICKET PURCHASE TAX DEDUCTIBLE? No. The IRS does not recognize raffle ticket purchases as a tax-deductible contribution.

DO I NEED TO LIVE IN A SPECIFIC STATE OR AREA TO BUY A TICKET? This raffle is open to all US states that allow out-of-state raffle ticket purchasing and participation. Raffle is VOID in states where prohibited by law. Please check your state raffle laws for clarification and legality of purchasing options.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express when purchasing online. All transactions are final.

HOW DO YOU GENERATE THE TICKETS/TICKET NUMBERS? Your ticket numbers are generated via an automated process upon completion of your order. Once your order has been processed, you will receive TWO emails: the first email will be an immediate receipt containing a summary of your order from Eventbrite; the second email will contain your electronic raffle ticket(s) and your ticket number(s) and will be emailed to you no later than Wednesday, November 14, 2023 at 9AM EST.

DO I NEED TO BE WATCHING THE FACEBOOK LIVE TO WIN? No. All winners will be notified via email and or phone shortly after the drawing. We will also post the winner on the website and our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn social media accounts shortly after the raffle drawing.

DO I HAVE ANY TAX LIABILITY IF I WIN? Potentially. The taxable value of the prize will be treated as ordinary income to the winner for federal and state income tax purposes, and the winner will be required by law to pay any tax liability incurred in connection with his/her receipt of the prize, if any. If you are a raffle winner, it is important that you determine what federal, state and/or local taxes you must pay and you are encouraged to consult with an accountant or tax preparer to make that determination.

WHAT IS THE VALUE OF THE PRIZE PACKAGE? The value of the two (2) The Eagles Long Goodbye tour tickets, the overnight stay for two (2), and the $100 gift card to Frank & Dinos is: $1,416.34.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THE CONCERT GET CANCELLED OR THE WINNER CANNOT ATTEND FOR SOME REASON? In the rare event that the concert is cancelled or dates are changed, or the winner is unable to attend, The Nest will not refund raffle ticket(s) purchase to winner or raffle participants. All sales are final.

IS PARKING AT THE CONCERT VENUE INCLUDED IN THIS PRIZE? No. It is the winner’s responsibility for any transportation fees to/from the concert. Keep in mind, Rupp Arena is only a 10 minute walk from The Manchester Hotel.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER CONDITIONS I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Employees of The Nest – Center for Women, Children & Families and the members of The Nest’s Board of Directors are not eligible to enter/win.

By participating in the The Eagles Concert Raffle, the participant agrees that The Nest – Center for Women, Children & Families has no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize or by participation in the contest.
